- Can a tool tell me for certain whether a page violates AdSense policy?
- No, and any tool claiming otherwise is overselling. A human reviewer applies judgement that no keyword list models. What this checker reliably catches is the mechanical mistake — a piracy term left in a title, an ad unit on a 90-word page, a health claim phrased as a guarantee — where the publisher simply did not think about policy before publishing.
- Why does it flag thin pages with ad code specifically?
- Because that combination is the "valuable inventory: no content" pattern, one of the most common real policy actions. A short page on its own is only a quality problem; a short page carrying ad units is the thing reviewers act on.
- Will it flag my page for one mention of a sensitive word?
- No. Most rules require several matches before they fire, and matching is on whole words. A finance article that mentions gambling once is not a gambling site, and a checker that says otherwise gets switched off — which would make it worthless.
- Can I scan any URL?
- Only pages on sites you have added to your account. That is a deliberate restriction: an open scanner that fetches arbitrary URLs on request is a tool for probing other people's servers, not for checking your own content.
